Meet Our Golf Pros


Scott Rodgers
CPGA Head Professional
Scott has been a member of the Canadian P.G.A. since 1994.  Scott has developed a wide range of professional experiences, filling many different roles at the University Golf Club (1994-1999), as a teaching professional at the Tsawwassen Golf and Country Club (2000-2002), and, most recently, at the Vancouver Golf Club (2003-2008). Scott has a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (B.H.K.) from the University of British Columbia (’93), and was a member of the Varsity Golf Team in his Senior Year.  Scott won the PGA of BC award for Assistant Professional of the Year in 2007, and was nominated for the same award in 2004.

He has won 16 professional tournaments in his career, including two provincial championships, the PGA of BC Pro-Assistant Championship in 2007, and the PGA of BC Assistant Professionals’ Championship in 2003, and was nominated for the PGA of BC Player of the Year in 2003.

 

Scott has enjoyed working with thousands of golfers as a CPGA Certified Level IV instructor and coach of all skill levels, from beginner to Nationwide Tour players.   He has attended numerous seminars hosted by leaders in innovative teaching styles, including Tiger Woods’ coach Hank Haney, Ernie Els’ former coach Robert Baker, PGA Tour short-game guru Stan Utley, and sports-psychologist to many PGA Tour players and author of  “Fearless Golf” Gio Valiente.


Victor Vianzon

CPGA Associate Professional

Victor started golf at the age of 10. Originally from Manila, Philippines, he moved to Vancouver, B.C. in 1988. Victor joined the Canadian Professional Golfers Association in 1995, serving as an Assistant Professional at Pitt Meadows Golf Club from 1995 to 1998, and at Northview Golf Club from 1999 to 2001. He came to Quilchena Golf and Country Club in 2002, and in the same year graduated from the Professional Golf Management Program at Camosun College. Victor is a Class A CPGA Professional as well as a Certified Level III Instructor.


Wendi Varley
LPGA Teaching Professional

From Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Wendi joined the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals in 2001, became a member of the Canadian Golf Teachers Association in 1999, and has completed the LPGA National Education Programs I, II and III. She attended the LPGA Player Development Camp in 2004, and later Attended Fred Shoemaker's "Extraordinary Golf" school in 2005. She also attended the Dana Rader Golf School in 2005 Srixon Staff Player.


Imran Kamrudin
CPGA Professional

Imran attained CPGA Professional status in 2005. He is a Cleveland Staff Player. He has Teaching and Coaching Certification Levels I & II. He believes a good swing starts with a good foundation.


Paul Girard
CPGA Professional

Paul started golf at the age of 13, and by age 16 was playing Junior Tours in and around his hometown of London, Ontario. After obtaining a B.A. in History from the University of Western Ontario in 2005, Paul set out to travel and backpacked through Australia for a year. By July of 2007 he found himself living in Vancouver and returned to his love of golf, began working at Quilchena Golf and Country Club and went on to attain professional status in August of 2008. Paul is a certified Level I & II instructor, and believes that a positive attitude along with professional instruction is the best way to play better golf.
